Frequently Asked Questions

All of our treats are homemade with natural ingredients.  Finley's cookies contain no added sugars or fillers.  We use sourdough and different flours, oats, peanut butter powder, and other natural ingredients including (but not limited to)  unsweetened applesauce, pumpkin puree or fresh carrots depending on the treat!  

We have tested each recipe on Finicky Finley and  if it doesn't pass the test, then we don't sell them!  (Don't worry Forrest will gladly eat anything Finley doesn't eat so no food goes to waste!)  

Sourdough is a self-fermenting mixture of flour and water which produces natural yeast that is often used to make (you guessed it!) Sourdough bread.  This helps our treats rise naturally without any added yeast to our products.  We can't confirm but Sourdough might be the ingredient that sets it apart with the most finicky palates.   Just like any treat, they should not be fed in place of dog food for regular meals.  

Yes! We prepare all of our peanut treats separate from the non-peanut recipes.
